Joint Standing Committee on the Commissioner for Children and Young People

Presented by Mrs R.M.J. Clarke, MLA and Hon N. Thomson, MLC, June 2023

Canteens make the news in Perth

Aimee Gaffney, Canteen Supervisor at West Leederville Primary School and our very own CEO Megan Sauzier had the opportunity to discuss all the benefits of having a school canteen with journalists at ABC Radio Perth on Thursday 30 January.  It was a timely conversation as the Federation of Canteens in Schools (FOCIS) is preparing to host a National Roundtable on Tuesday, 25 February 2025, bringing together key stakeholders to discuss the critical future of school canteens across Australia.

If you want to have your say at the National Roundtable (and we would love you to) head to the FOCIS website.  It’s easy just fill out the form to register.

To hear what Aimee and Megan had to say head to the recording at ABC Radio Perth, afternoons with Jo trilling.
