Foodcore’s ‘Food and Nutrition Early Years Support’ pilot project, funded by Healthway, aims to enhance the capacity and confidence of ECEC staff to create safe, nourishing and positive food environments. We are excited to work with n=40 Early Child Education and Care (ECECs) in WA to create positive and nourishing food and drink environments.

Edith Cowan University (ECU) has been commissioned to independently evaluate the effectiveness of this pilot project. This research project has received the approval of ECU’s Human Research Ethics Committee, in accordance with the National Health and Medical Research Council’s National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research (2023). The approval number is 2025-06794-SAMBEL.
