Ingredients
- ½ tbsp olive oil
- 500g chicken mince
- ½ cup hoisin sauce
- 24 frozen bao buns
- 1 carrot, shredded
- 1 cucumber, thinly sliced
- ½ purple cabbage
- 1 bunch coriander leaves
- 5 spring onions, sliced
Method
- Heat olive oil in a non stick fry-pan over medium-high heat
- Add chicken mince to pan and cook, stirring for 5-10 minutes or until cooked through
- Add hoisin sauce to pan and stir until all chicken is coated
- Place four frozen bao buns on a microwave-safe plate and sprinkle each bun with a few drops of water. Cover with plastic wrap and microwave on high for 1 minute 30 seconds.
- To assemble, add chicken to the bottom of each bun. Top with carrot, cucumber, coriander and spring onions.
- Serve 1 as a snack or 2-3 as a meal.
