The Foodcore Board governs the organisation and act on behalf of all members.
They work closely with the office team to ensure Foodcore remains a viable entity meeting funding obligations and member needs.
Elections of the Board were held at the Annual General Meeting 25 November 2023. The Foodcore Board is responsible for the strategic leadership, direction and development of the organisation. The skills mix of the Board must be aligned with the strategic direction and purpose of the organisation. All nominations are reviewed by a Nominating Committee.
Nominations for the 2024 Board are now open and will be voted on at the AGM Saturday 16 November 9.30am at Perth Hockey Stadium. See the Agenda and Nomination forms.

Natalie joined the Foodcore Board in 2023. She has been a representative on the P&C at her children's school for over 12 years across many roles, most recently as President & Canteen Co-Ordinator. She currently serves as a Councillor for the City of Wanneroo South-West Ward.
Natalie is a passionate advocate for local schools, community groups & organisations and small business. She has a professional background in hospitality and marketing and divides her time between raising three children, assisting with running the family business and volunteering.

Cre joined the Foodcore Board in 2015. Cre has been the Canteen Supervisor at Applecross Senior High School for 13 years, prior she was the supervisor at Winterfold Primary School for 3 years.
With a background in hospitality and operating her own small business it is little wonder her high school canteen is considered a lighthouse operation amongst school canteens.
Cre’s depth of knowledge and experience of the processes and procedures required to run a successful canteen has seen her become a highly regarded mentor in WA. Cre was made a Foodcore Life Member in 2021 for her valuable contribution.

Louise is the newest member to the Foodcore Board and is the current Canteen Supervisor at Bunbury Catholic College.
Louise has experience as a Paediatric Nurse, Commercial Cook and Patisserie Chef. Through her background in hospitality and from operating her own small business in the UK when her four children were babies, she developed a strong passion for food sustainability, nutrition and community outreach. In her words she will relish contributing to decision making regarding food planning and nutrition. Her background in catering and managing events will be an incredible advantage to Foodcore and will allow her to make a meaningful impact on the community.

Jodie joined the Foodcore Board in 2021. Jodie has a background in xx science, spent XX as the Canteen Supervisor at Tuart Hill Primary School before heading back to study as a teacher.

Jenny joined the Foodcore Board in 2021 bringing a wealth of experience in Food and Nutrition Education with roles such as Home Economics Teacher at independent and public schools across WA, Resource Writer with the Department of Education and Food and Nutrition Education Project Officer with Edith Cowan University.
Jenny has over 20 years of experience as a Food Technology Teacher, currently employed at Newman College Perth.

Rikita joined the Foodcore Board in 2023 after getting to know the organisation through the Heathway funded Healthy Sports Club Grants.
Rikita works for the Derbarl Yerrigan Health Service supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders and their families with aged care services. She is the administrator of the Koongamia Football Club where she uses her skills in fundraising, organizing culturally appropriate community events, and spearheading community development initiatives. Rikita is skilled at securing sponsorships for a non-profit sports organisations and adeptly administering and coordinating club events.

Shayley joined the Foodcore board in 2023 after being involved with Heathway’s State Sporting Association sponsorship and the Fuel to Go & Play program
Shayley is the General Manager Performance, Pathways and Growth with Hockey WA and the General Manager of the Perth Thundersticks. Shayley brings a wealth of experience in leadership, executive level management, partnerships, marketing alignment, strategic planning and nurturing organisational culture and fostering innovation.

Toyah joined the Foodcore board in 2023 and brings a regional perspective from her role as Prevention Coordinator AOD with Hope Community Services in Karratha.
Toyah is passionate about supporting regional organisations to achieve and deliver positive community outcomes, with almost 20 years experience in preventative health within State Government, Local Government and the not-for-profit sector.

With over 30 years’ international experience at a business and brand strategist, consulting across a wide range of disciplines and industries, Richard has a passion for effecting positive change through insight-led creative thinking.
A problem solver and communication specialist, he joins the board having recently assisted in guiding the transition from WASCA to Foodcore and as the organisation moves into an exciting new phase, Richard brings a fresh perspective and unique set of skills, knowledge and experience from different sectors.

Beki Bampton joined the Foodcore Board in 2017 before taking on the role of President in 2019.
Experienced as both Canteen Volunteer and Supervisor for more than a decade Beki has recently completed her Health Science Degree in Occupational Health and Safety and Health Promotion, and is currently employed as a Project Officer Road Safety with the WA Local Government Association.
Beki has a passion for health, wellbeing, safety, social justice and equity.

Megan is a Public Health Nutritionist and Chief Executive Officer at Foodcore Nutrition Services, where she has been a key figure since starting as a Project Officer in 2006.
Megan excels in leading with vision and is tasked with steering the strategic direction of the organisation, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration, developing partnerships and championing the development of sustainable, healthy food environments.
Her commitment to promoting nutritious, delicious food, providing high quality training and fostering healthy eating habits for all, underscores her passion for enhancing public health and wellbeing.

Lochie is an early career Public Health Nutritionist who has been constantly learning since joining the Foodcore team in 2023. He works across a range of projects and enjoys working directly with individuals to improve food literacy in an engaging way.
Lochie is passionate about impacting the environments in which individuals learn, work, and play to positively influence their health and wellbeing.
Lachlan Clark

Amanda is a Public Health Nutritionist who has been assisting schools and other community settings to create healthy viable food services since joining Foodcore in 2008. Amanda has a wealth of experience in training development and delivery, resource development, program implementation and importantly collaboration and partnership building.
As a parent and health professional she is passionate about the health of today’s youth and the constraints on families and schools to provide a healthy food service.

Carla is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) and Sports Dietitian who joined the Foodcore team in 2020. Carla works closely with State Sporting Associations and sporting clubs to assist them in providing a food environment that supports their members to live a happy, healthy, and active life.
Carla is passionate about helping active juniors understand the importance of fuelling and nourishing their bodies every day to ensure they perform at their best!

Michelle is a Public Health Nutritionist with over 20 years’ experience. In her early career she was involved with implementing state-wide healthy eating campaigns and during her time at Healthway learnt about the importance of collaboration to achieve meaningful outcomes. Since joining Foodcore in 2009, she has contributed to creating healthier food environments and promoting healthy eating by working with community organisations.
Michelle understands the importance of nourishing children, and the challenges that parents face. This inspires her to educate parents and children about how to eat well and working with organisations to create healthier food environments.

Tracy joined the Foodcore team in 2023 after 16 years as a canteen supervisor in both the private and public sectors.
She is dedicated to assisting canteen staff and employers in developing profitable and sustainable canteens through great organisational skills and management.
Tracy is also a passionate food safety trainer, committed to assisting individuals with the knowledge and skills to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and safety in food preparation and handling.
