We have listened to our members and in doing so we are thrilled to announce NEW All About Allergens for schools face to face training!
Training will be delivered by Foodcore in partnership with the National Allergy Council.

We invite Members Only to participate in our first pilot session. This is a pilot so we can make sure the training is great and meets your needs. This session will be delivered by the National Allergy Council’s Project Officer and Allergy Foodservice Dietitian, Ingrid Roche.

As places are limited for the pilot, we are offering this session exclusively to members who have paid their 2025 membership FREE of charge. (In future the training will be $40 per person for members).

  • Thursday 24 April 2025 (school holidays)
  • 9.30am – 11.00am
  • Foodcore office, 151 Royal Street East Perth
  • Resources and morning tea provided.

What will you learn?

Specific to school canteens, you learn more about food allergen management and how to develop best practice procedures in your canteen to provide safe food to students and staff with food allergy.

The training is for staff and volunteers who:

  • Make decisions about suitable menu items
  • Plan menus, choose recipes, choose suppliers and place orders
  • Make and serve food to students
  • Are likely to be asked about ingredients or allergens in foods from staff or students with food allergy, or their parents.
